Tel-Aviv Blues Festival #3 will take place in July 2016, at 20 venues all over the city. 6,000 people attended the first TLV Bluesfest, in July 2015. Buddy Guy’s show in the Caesarea Amphitheatre will open the Festival. It will be the second time that Shuki Weiss’s production company brings Buddy Guy to Israel.

 

Tel-Aviv Blues Festival is a dynamic urban festival, in which 20 clubs become an exciting scene for new sounds and flavors. Thousands of people and dozens of musicians leave their everyday lives, and for 4 days celebrate the local blues community.

 

The festival was founded and produced by “‘Highway 61’ – the Association for Promoting Blues in Israel” and “Nobody’s Fault Productions” which brings international blues shows to Israel. The Buddy Guy show is produced by Shuki Weiss, and Sharon Lewis’s show by Assaf Ganzman.

“When I get Home” | Uzi Ramirez and friends sing Elizabeth Cotten | with: Ruth Dolores Weiss, Alon Lotringer, Gilad Abro. New interpretations of Cotten’s songs, for the very first time in Israel.

Praise the Electric Guitar | 5 guitarists, one stage with: Ronnie Peterson, Maor Cohen, Peter Roth, Guy Mazig and Erez Netz. At Zappa club.

Dani Dorchin’s second album release | with: The Ramirez Brothers, Gilad Abro.
